I just read the latest book Total Eclipse, it was great my girlfriends liked it but complained that it wasn't like the regular Zane books, I thought it was great and it kept you in suspense, it was the truth and boggled me at the end when Brooke and Damon are a interacial couple I tried to skim back through the book to see if I could figure out what race was who but it really didn't matter.
